What is GI Herbal Health Complex?

GI Herbal Health Complex is specifically formulated to provide systemic support
for the digestive system and has an excellent record of improving digestive
comfort and functioning. GI Herbal Health Complex is specifically designed to encourage healthy digestion by promoting a healthy inflammation response. In addition, this formula contains ingredients well-known for their anti-oxidant properties – thereby providing free radical protection for the digestive system.*

Ingredients

Chamomile (Matricaria chamomilla)
The anti-inflammatory, anti-spasmodic and calming properties of Chamomile make it an extremely effective herb for the gastro-intestinal tract. Approved by the German Commission E, Chamomile has been reported to have musculotropic, antispasmodic, and anti-inflammatory properties. Most studies have found that the whole herb was more active than were individual constituents – making a point for Full Spectrum™ manufacturing using whole herbs – a hallmark of NutraRx manufacturing.*

Meadowsweet (Filipendula ulmaria)
Filipendula has soothing, anti-oxidant properties, helping to protect the digestive tract and balance stomach acid secretions. Its high concentrations of the constituent salicylate, similar in structure to the synthetic acetylsalicylate, or aspirin – make it an effective anti-inflammatory. Furthermore, other chemical components found in Fillipendula, such as phenolic glycosides, tannins and the essential oil, are also thought to have benefits for the management of gastric health.*

Slippery Elm (Ulmus fulva)
Due to its high mucilage content, Slippery Elm has a soothing and protective effect on the gastro-intestinal lining and is often recommended to soothe digestive upset and irritation.. Rich in mucilage, the inner bark of Slippery Elm consists of insoluble polysaccharides which form a viscous material following oral administration. Furthermore, fatty acids and fatty acid esters similar to those found in Slippery Elm have shown in both in vitro and animal studies to possess an immunomodulatory effect.*

Cancer Bush (Sutherlandia frutescens)
A medicinal herb exclusively found in Southern Africa and has been used by indigenous people for thousands of years for both chronic and acute digestive complaints and as a powerful tonic. Recent research has confirmed its adaptogenic properties.*Sutherlandia contains a number of highly active compounds, including pinitol, L-canavanine and the amino acid, GABA. L-canavanine is a strong L-argine antagonist.*

For Optimum Results

Used regularly, GI Herbal Health Complex improves digestion within 3-6 weeks, although some people respond much sooner. Over time, people should show a decrease in the frequency and intensity of their occasional digestive upset.
